Pastor Levie A. Wright Jr.

Born to the late Mr. Levie Wright Sr., and Mrs. Thelma Wright on September 15, 1969. He is happily married to Mrs. Opnee Wright, together, they have 2 wonderful children.  Pastor Wright is a humble man of God.  He loves God and God's people. He works hard to advance the kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Pastor Wright is a native of Baton Rouge, LA. Pastor Wright's Preaching ministry grew rapidly after accepting the call of preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. He is the Pastor of the Greater New Zion Baptist Church (Norwood, La) where he has been the pastor for the past 10 years as well as the Greater Mt. Canaan Baptist Church where he has pastored the last 9 years.  Pastor Wright is sincere about the business of God and the spiritual growth of his congregations.

He Currently serves as the Director of Evangelism for the 4th District Missionary Baptist Association in Baton Rouge, la. He also serves on the evangelism team for the East Feliciana Ministers Conference.  He is also a member of the East Baton Rouge Ministers Conference. 

He loves Youth, he coaches summer basketball.  Pastor Wright is truly a man after God's Heart.  He loves to sing, preach, and spend time with family and friends, teach and preach the gospel, and above all, live as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
